We know organizations have choices. Plenty of them. Our cause is one that people in any group can personally connect to: if breast cancer hasn’t hit a member of the team, it’s touched family or friends. Susan G. Komen Central Indiana is a partner who ensures that funds we receive through Race for the Cure not only stay in the community and help Central Indiana women fight to win today. But, donations also fuel breast cancer research that is giving people around the world hope for tomorrow.

In its 24th year, this 5K fundraiser is much more than a Race. Race for the Cure turns the city pink each April, bringing together more than 16,000 participants to celebrate breast cancer survivors in our community and honor the women who have lost their battle. Race day also includes an inspiring Survivor Parade supported by their family and friends.

IMPD Corp Team.jpgDid you know studies have shown that the most effective corporate team building activity is to rally employees around a good cause? By forming a corporate team, you will show your employees that you care and your employees can have fun not only on Race Day, but in the days leading up to it. You will also be encouraging employee fitness since team members will be participating in a 5K competitive run, a 5K walk/run or one-mile family walk.

It's easy to start a team - We can provide you with everything you need to help make it easy to choose a captain, form your team, recruit members and encourage them to raise funds beyond their registration fees. Each $100 in fundraising or donations covers the cost of a mammogram for an under-insured woman in our community.

Kroger Sponsor Tent.jpgYour support is critical to our local efforts. When you invest in a Komen Central Indiana Race for the Cure sponsorship, you invest in the lives of the people closest to you; the people of your community... your family, colleagues, employees, neighbors and friends.
