Pink is more than just a color. It represents the impact that each person is making in the fight against the most frequently diagnosed cancer worldwide. Join us for the 26th annual Susan G. Komen Central Indiana Race for the Cure to help us deepen our impact in the local and global fight against breast cancer. By registering and fundraising for the Race, you are More Than Pink.
Last year's Central Indiana Race for the Cure had 13,000 participants and 682 teams, who raised $1.2 million. These dollars and your collective efforts allowed us to serve 20,000 Hoosiers in need and get a step closer to achieving our bold goal of reducing the current number of breast cancer deaths in the U.S. by 50 percent in the next decade.
You can register online, at packet pick-up or on Race day at the registration shelter. Please note: Registration prices will increase on Race day. We strongly suggest registering in advance!
Event Update April 29, 2017
For the safety of our participants and volunteers, we regretfully cancel Race for the Cure due to the weather. However, your continued support is vital. Breast cancer comes rain or shine and often at the most inopportune times. We hope you will continue to help us fund research to find the cures and help those affected by breast cancer in our community. To show your support visit komencentralindiana.org/race or text IMPACT to 24700.
We will communicate more updates to our participants and supporters as soon as possible! Please stay tuned for details about how to get your Race materials if you’re already registered and for any other questions about the event. Thank you for understanding!
Here’s how you can still support the Central Indiana Race for the Cure:
1) Register today at komencentralindiana.org/race as a virtual participant for $35 – your Race materials will be mailed to you!
2) Visit komencentralindiana.org/race to make a donation to help us save lives and find the cures.
